Dr. Megha Sethi
I’m Dr. Megha Sethi, Principal Dentist at Riverside Dental Practice, with over 15 years of clinical experience in dentistry. I’ve been caring for patients in London since 2011, providing thoughtful, evidence-based treatment with a focus on long-term dental health and natural-looking results.
I earned my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 2005 and was awarded the International College of Dentists Merit Award in prosthodontics. I later completed a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where I graduated with distinction, ranked first in my class, and received the Postgraduate Prize from the Prosthodontics Unit. I was also placed on the UCL Dean’s List, recognising the top 5% of students across the university.
“Conservative dentistry” focuses on preserving and restoring natural teeth through techniques such as high-quality fillings, crowns and bridges. My training also included fixed prosthodontics- procedures used to rebuild worn or damaged teeth and replace missing ones with strong, natural-looking restorations.
Alongside my clinical practice, I previously worked as a clinical lecturer at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where I taught qualified dentists looking to advance their skills in restorative dentistry. I was also actively involved in dental research during my time there. While I stepped down from this academic role due to increasing practice commitments, I continue to contribute to the profession as an examiner for the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) , helping maintain professional standards in UK dentistry.
At Riverside, I offer a wide range of treatments—including tooth-coloured restorations, root canals, dentures, implant restorations, and Invisalign. My approach is always tailored to each patient, grounded in current research and designed to give lasting, confident results.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy long walks, reading scientific literature, and learning to play the piano. Whether you’re here for routine care or more complex treatment, my aim is to help you feel supported, informed, and proud of your smile.
